"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

This person as we know as "Jake" is not really Jake at all. Perhaps that's his real name, but we'll never know. He made up his accounts, ripped his photos from the internet and basically invented "Ken" ("Ken" is from porn sites). It's all made up. Every bit of it. Who knows where the photos came from - probably Flickr. The only question is why would someone go to such great lengths to create an identity? Who knows. But now we know why the emails don't work, and DA was alerted and all of the other accounts were banned. I tell you this one thing - if this information is incorrect, all "Jake" has to do is log onto this account and prove it otherwise. If he does not, then we can only surmise that this information is accurate. Side note - you have to wonder his interest in younger people here at DA. I'm just speculating.

Well I found this [link] which was previously on NakedYank's gallery..only thing was this was created by the original artist in 2006 and I didn't subscribe to NakedYank until 2007....fishyfishy. And quite sad as I thought Jake/Allen/NakedYank..or whoever was really a nice person.

You make a very good point. Irregardless of this person's motives, one has to remember that in spite of their masquerade, they may have had a genuine sincerity. But even in hoping the person was truly nice doesn't condone their deception. When incidents like this happen, it lowers everyone's expectations that trust is best left in the hands of those people who we choose to know in real life. The internet, as sterile and impersonal as we are led to believe, can actually be more personal and sincere for many people. When predators realize this - they can control our emotions into trusting them to the point of defending their very nature. "Jake", I believe, is such a person as this - and it's a shame that so many of us fell for his motives.
